Lynne Stern kicks off 2024 with a simple, delicate arrangement of pussy willows, paperwhites. and a pretty blue hyacinth. . .a lovely reminder that Spring is just around the corner.

Sandra Dalbec’s unique library display is in one of her favorite planters. It was a gift from her son and rests in a little sandbox with shells and sea life. So pretty and appropriate for Sanibel Island.

Gwenda Hiett-Clements Red Caladiums were showcased at the library in May. Beautiful arrangement in such a pretty vase!

This beautiful orchid from Linda and Tom Uhler’s collection is called Brassia Rex Christine. It was in full bloom when Linda delivered it to the library. A stunning plant!

Kathy Dubuque showed off one of her prized orchids—a double-stemmed white phalaenopsis. What a beauty!

Barbara Wilgus presented a beautiful arrangement this week. The leaf-patterned vase showcases palm leaves/fronds, a bromeliad flower and cut mini hot-pink poinsettias, all from her yard. Perfect!

Maggie Butcher’s colorful vertical design highlights this library floral display. Birds of Paradise are mixed with Muehly Grass and Crotons. Lovely, Maggie!

Gerri Perkins has delivered a lovely floral arrangement to the library the first week of November. She calls it Sanibel Bounty. Everything comes from her island yard. Gorgeous colors and wonderful assembly!
